This blog originally started as a way for Daria and I to share recipes with each other regularly since we no longer lived in the same city. Due to several suggestions given to me by regular readers, I will be enabling comments.

All comments will be monitored before posting because we are control freaks.

Diana, like RoboCop is from Detroit. She knows how to say "bitch, I'll cut you" in five different languages and can hot wire a car in one of two ways. She is in love with the idea of food, but is by nature, a terrible eater. Leftovers are often forgotten in the abyss of her refrigerator, yet she has not learned to just make less food. Originally hailing from Eastern Europe, her favorite ingredients are cabbage, sour cream, dill, vodka and more vodka.

Also like RoboCop, Diana is a Cyborg.

Diana would one day like to have a cat named Rod Blagojevich, so she can say things like "I came home last night and Rod Blagojevich was digging through my trash" or "Rod Blagojevich took a crap on my rug". The possibilities are endless. Really, Diana is preparing for her future as a crazy old cat lady. Specifically, a crazy old cat lady who will not let references to washed up politicians die.

Daria, like Barack Obama is from the Soviet Republic of Hawaii. She is good at making things disappear; things like mathematical remainders, bodies and political dissenters. She is part Russian and thus, part KGB. You should not trust her. She has listening devices planted in your home. She is watching you right now. She will send you to Siberia.

Daria also once bitch-slapped a bear.

Daria and Diana formed their alliance while fighting the Germans (Bauer) on the front lines in 2007. They are firmly united in their quest to bring about the end of the hollow pursuits of capitalism and usher in an era of unbridled prosperity through the creation of delicious recipes.
